Their main downside is that they do not support wireless charging , but Skullcandy has the Indy Fuel model, a replica of the Indy Evo but with wireless charging. Overall, we’d say that connectivity is decent – but not perfect. Skullcandy Indy Evo review: Performance Open the Settings menu [Settings] on the iPhone, head to Bluetooth Settings [Bluetooth] and select your headphones [ Indy Evo] from the list. If you want the best true wireless earbuds for as little money as possible then take a look at the Nokia BH-205 Lite Earbuds - they might be basic but the sound quality is impressive, they’re completely waterproof and you get loads of battery life. That’s all for a fraction of the price of the Skullcandy Indy Evo.

Sound quality hasn’t always been Skullcandy’s strong suit. Sure, the earphones don’t sound bad, but they usually don’t sound good either. Unfortunately, this is still true of the Skullcandy Indy (cyan), which has a frequency response that looks like somebody forgot to add any bass. While the highs and mids reasonably follow our consumer curve (pink), the lower mids and sub-bass are so under-emphasized that it is difficult to recommend the Indy for anything besides podcasts or Zoom calls. Lows, mids, and highsThe bass is okay, but there’s no massive boost to make you feel like you’re really jumping into your music.

The Indy Evo have three different EQ modes but, after testing them all extensively, I found two of them to be pretty much redundant. When people have trouble with true wireless audio, it’s usually related to Bluetooth pairing. If you can’t get Indy™ Wireless to pair to your phone or your earbuds are having trouble connecting to one another, here’s how you reset Indy™ Wireless to resolve pairing issues. Other features are available too, such as Ambient mode, when you need to tune into the world around you. There’s also a selection of 3 EQ modes to choose from.Answer: Various reasons could prevent the earbuds from pairing together, but there are a few solutions that will solve this problem . Once successfully paired, a voice prompt will notify you are now “Connected” and you will see INDY™ EVO twice in your “paired devices” list. Connectivity is an area where Skullcandy neither excel, nor disappoint. As mentioned above, there are no fancy codecs here to improve your listening experience.
