This Rodimus Prime, along with the original Ultra Magnus, Optimus Prime, and Jazz, makes a cameo appearance as one of the four elders who began the space bridge project in the Cybertron episode " Balance".

At first their search proved fruitless, but they spotted the Dinobots and took them down, attempting to interrogate them for Megatron's whereabouts. Rodimus found himself momentarily possessed by Unicron, who identified the Athenaeum Sanctorum from Snarl's description before killing Sludge as a warning, leaving Rodimus's body as he and Overlord headed for the library. There, they caught Megatron's team unaware, giving Rodimus the opportunity to kill Victorion. Athenaeum Sanctorum Rodimus then proceeded to beat down any member of the team that came his way, culminating in him strangling Windblade when she moved to defend Megatron. Though she pleaded with him in an attempt to reach him, he assured her the old Hot Rod was dead and tossed her aside. He again prepared to execute Megatron, but Overlord insisted he do it himself. Countdown Rodimus Prime's appearances in "Decepticon Air" and "Endgame, Part II" were excised when the episodes were cropped to standard definition. However, his presence in the episodes was revealed when they were later broadcast in wide-format HD on The Hub.Beginning with wave 3 figures, the pictograms on the tech-spec cards went through some minor cosmetic changes from the previous waves; the strength icon changed from a whole muscular torso to just a muscular arm, the 'motion blur' effect on the running humanoid figure which marks speed changed from triangles to striations, the intelligence icon switched from a human brain to a Cybertronian's head silhouette with gears inside, and lastly the firepower icon changed from just a bullet to a bullet followed by a blast effect. Wheelie led them through the jungle, battling Quintessons along the way, until they reached Wheelie's crashed ship. Fire Rodimus was among the many alternate universe incarnations glimpsed by Primax 512.5 Gamma's Hot Rod Destiny, Part Three and was also summoned to Primax 512.5 Gamma to fight the Dark Matrix creature. The War to End All Wars, Part 5Initial proposals for BotCon 2011 included a redeco of Animated Rodimus Prime into an Animated version of Tigatron. [4]
