I was most intrigued by the “Reimagined” games, variants that are brand new to this collection, and some of the later Atari efforts, like the 3D Jaguar games. These did not disappoint… well, maybe some of them did; options like Cybermorph and Club Drive were and are disappointing games and commercial failures! But they are fascinating. 3D Jaguar games represent a pre- PlayStation or Nintendo 64 era that most people weren’t privy to due to the limited interest in the Jaguar stunting its ubiquity. These Jaguar games are full of goofy, rough edges, but I greatly appreciate the chance to play them. License Revoked

So in short I am "hiding" the internal /rom partition and loading all roms, box art and rom config file from the SD card. I did a little more tweaking on the firmware. I removed the rom and data partitions from the firmware so they no longer get overwritten unnecessarily. So I believe save states and few settings would be preserved during an update, plus the firmware file is much smaller.EX: To play Star Wars Arcade from the main menu, make sure you have: StarWarsArcade.a26, StarWarsArcade.a26.png, StarWarsArcade.a26.s.png, and the [Star Wars Arcade] metadata in the "all-games.ini". Adventure has a 2nd hidden room, the location of which is revealed the same way the hidden room in the original was, and the room says “The 7800 is reborn. Thanks to: CV. JL. SM. GA. KL. NS. RE. CR. Designed by Digital Eclipse and housed in an actual arcade cabinet for the California Extreme 2022 arcade convention, this is a vector graphics-inspired mashup of several Atari games like Asteroids and Lunar Lander. It looks sleek and the transitions between levels are pure vector-like joy. Some of the games included or omitted are questionable. 3 different baseball games are included, but only 1 of 3 football games. EarthWorld and FireWorld are included, but not WaterWorld. All but 2 RealSports games ( Football and Tennis) are included, but one of them ( Basketball) was an unreleased prototype. The manual includes the briefest of descriptions for each game (1 or 2 sentences), and My SD card is only a SDHC 1Gb San Disk (an older card I've been using, but with plenty of room for FB9 roms.) I'm fairly certain it's a read/write speed issue, as the files contents were incrementally increasing every time I took it out and viewed them on my PC. Curiously, the Space Invaders "new" (not the original 2600 one) menu item is blank and unplayable when the USB thumb drive is attached (using an older 4GB Toshiba) with the OTG cable, but once the drive is removed is appears and plays OK...
