To return faulty items see our Returning Faulty Items policy. This is normally caused either by the pool not being set up on flat level ground or someone standing or leaning on the frame of the pool. We would suggest moving the pool to a more suitable location. We would also advise that you do not stand on the frame of the pool, the ladder must be used for entering and exiting the pool. This type of damage is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty so you may need to replace parts.

This will prevent any dirt or water from stopping the patch from adhering properly to the surface of the paddling pool. Try not to allow any air bubbles to form as this will affect the bonding over longer periods of time. First, you need to find the hole in the paddling pool, and then you can fix it using a suitable paddling pool repair kit.

There are two types of holes that can appear in a paddling pool. The first is one that lets the water out and the second is one that lets air out and causes the pool to deflate. If you are applying a patch to a hole in the water-filled section this should be placed on the outside area and not on the inside of the pool. To add extra strength to your repair, you can add a second patch on the inside of the pool.This is normal. The pool will bend inwards until the pool has been filled up to 80% capacity. Please see the pool manual for more detailed information and images. Parcel tape can be a little better than sellotape but it will fail to work on the same principle as neither like water and will fail in a short period of time. Deflate the liner slightly to eliminate the bulging. Please be aware changes in the ambient temperature outside will cause the air inside the liner to expand or contract. On hot summer days we would suggest deflating the pool ring slightly. On colder winter days you may notice the liner looks a little soft and needs some more air.

Yes, you can use sellotape to temporarily repair a paddling pool but it will only hold for a very short period of time. Sellotape does not like water and will peel off in no time at all.

Duct tape will last slightly longer than sellotape and parcel tape but will still not last very long. You may get a couple of uses out of your paddling pool with duct tape on it but you’ll find that your time will be wasted in the long run.
