Say you Swear is a love triangle, college football sports romance with angst, friendships, love, and heartbreaking moments that took me on an emotional rollercoaster and had me feeling all of the emotions.

For example, when the heroine is telling us (lots of telling in this book) about her twin brother and his two best friends, we get:I was so upset finishing this book solely because I never wanted it to end. If i could read it over and over again forever, I would. This story was perfect and beautiful. But so heartbreaking and raw and painful. You will go through every emotion possible with this book. But it will leave you feeling complete. I will love this book forever and ever and will never stop thinking about it. I’m a smart man, Juliet,” he whispers, his gaze dropping to my lips. “Only a fool would let you go once they had you where they wanted you.” The Wrong Blaze” is the first stand alone novel and was released in the year 2018. Hate. Lies. Love. And nothing is ever like it appears. Hands down my favorite Meagan Brandy story of all time!! Swoony, heart-hitting, and indelibly moving, Say You Swear is Meagan's most emotively resonant and richly told story to date. This story shines brightly with everything that makes Meagan the queen of new adult romance- friends who are family, the thrills and perils of first love, self discovery, and so much angst. From start to finish, this one captured my whole heart and will stay there for years to come. Also Ari’s brother and his two friends were strangely protective of Ari and her best girl friend’s honor or something and wouldn’t even let a guy look at or talk to them. Who acts like this unless they are religious?

Sarah McEwan, who portrays Arianna, is new to me, and all I can say is, “Wow!” Her character has such an emotional journey and she does a wonderful job conveying it all. And boy, does Ms. Brandy give her some challenging material. Arianna has been crushing on her brother's bff, Chase, for years, but of course deemed off limits. They get carried away on the beach one night and Chase calls it a mistake soon after. Arianna goes into a bit of a depression, but eventually meets Noah. Arianna Johnson “Ari,” her twin brother Mason, her closest friend Cameron, and their friends Brady and Chase make the decision to spend the remaining of the summer at their beach house together before they travel off to Vix for their first semester of college knowing that they won’t see each other as often as they have in the past. During their time at the beach home, Ari makes the decision to communicate her feelings to Chace because she believes that this will allow her to finally be with the guy she’s had her heart set on for a long time. Ari is a real cutie. I loved her character and I’m just so glad that she got what she deserved after having gotten treated so badly by Chase.

Trouble at Brayshaw High” is the second novel in the “Brayshaw High” series, and was released in the year 2019. She is told that she doesn’t belong. No words that were whispered in anger have ever sounded more true. They are the Kings of Brayshaw destined for greatness and in need of control and with the world at their feet. She is just the girl from the ghetto without anything to offer and just as defiant as they come. Arianna and Cam are vivacious, flirtatious, and love life. The boys are very protective of them and have been forever. Although Arianna "loves" Chase, Mason has insisted that his best friends are to have NOTHING to do with his "baby sister". One night Arianna crosses a line with Chase (she kissed him) to test the attraction and she became hard for him to ignore. He tried. Fumbled Hearts” is the first novel in the “Fumbled Hearts” series, and was released in the year 2017. He is the persistent playboy that simply refuses to walk away. She is the impassive new girl that has got nothing left to give. Things will get complicated.

This novel is rather hot and filled with a bunch of twists and turns. Raven and Maddoc are fantastic together, and readers enjoyed their moments of intimacy, and their moments of possession and unadulterated passion. Some found them to be quite a force and a great romance novel couple. Fans found themselves once more enthralled by one of Meagan’s stories, and she is an author they cannot read enough of. Chapt 12 had my heart in flutters and heartbreak yet relieved for a new girl to come out of her shell …. The story revolves around 5 inseparable best friends ~ Arianna, Mason, Chase, Brady & Cameron. They were together constantly in high school, are deeded a beach house together and go to college together. The girls live together and the boys live together. The boys play football together and if the girls aren't at the games then they're watching it on tv together. That's a whole lot of togetherness.It basically starts with the kids spending the summer at the families beach house. Because of what happens to her and her life long crush with one of their friends, Chase, college doesnt start off that well for Ari. She's hurt, even though she wanted it to happen. Its not what she did that hurt her, but how the friend she thought she loved responded to it, telling her it was a mistake, and withdrawing from her. MY ONLY NEGATIVE: The writing could be better, the only face people would do it’s a frown and smile. That kinda annoyed me but it didn’t bother me that much. Also, its long and could be couple of chapters shorter but other than that every chapter is important and you see it in the couple of chapters in the end. While this story certainly had me on my toes, and the unexpected twists both break and healed my heart, what I loved most are the tonal contrasts- how Meagan somehow gives us a love story that at its core is innocent and sweet, light and tender, but she buries it in a mess of complication and drama. It makes for such a delicious reading experience with the thrill of the drama and uncertainties juxtaposed to these delightfully sweet and sincere moments. But once you know just who this story is about, there is a fulfilling contentment that fills your heart, because you see just how perfectly they fit. How natural and authentic the chemistry and connection are, despite being in the most unnatural and complicated of dynamics. It’s really sweet and emotionally compelling., and I’ve never rooted for a Meagan Brandy HEA so hard. There are some heart wrenching and unexpected moments both big and small that had me in tears- I felt so intensely connected to these characters that I so easily absorbed their pain. This is the story I have FELT the most in the Meagan Brandy universe- by far her most emotively impacting story. THERE IS SO MUCH ANGST, so hang on tight.
