While the Cruella blind bag contains a number of elements, I found her to be one of the more non-descript characters that was a bit harder to identify. For her accessory, Mulan comes with a Roman gladius sword, which isn’t too accurate – it would’ve been nice to get Shan Yu’s sword, but hopefully LEGO create one when they actually release Shan Yu as a minifigure/bigfig.

LEGO does have the capability to print this section, so it feels like an odd miss, which I think would add a lot of depth to the minifigure’s design.From what I’ve read, this isn’t entirely reliable for identification, but it might be a helpful start since it seems unlikely Lego will be including any subtle markings on the new packaging.

Mulan is the only character to come with this accessory, and there are actually two of them in the blind bag. Just be careful using the 1×1 tiles with rounded edges because they are the same element used to represent Cruella de Vil’s purse.
