A Top coat is a clear nail polish that’s applied over a base coat or coloured coat of polishto give it a glossy finish and extend its wear time.Pop on your MyGel shade of choice or apply more Builder Gel in thin layers to build up strength, curing for 60 secs each time. If your nail polish was applied much earlier (the night before, for instance) then you must clean the polish surface free of oil, grease or moisturiser by wiping the nails with the Cleansing Wipe and allowing to dry. Continue with your gel colour and Top Coat as normal, or simply apply a Top Coat for a natural manicure with added strength. LONG LASTING: Our rubber base should be able to work with most gel polishes but we recommend using Dan’s gel polish, so the manicure last longer.

Once the nail polish is completely dry, apply a coat of Gel Illusion to the nail and place under the LED lamp for 60 seconds. Having a sticky foundation coat will allow your layers of nail colors or topcoats to Adhere to the Rubber Base Gel and prevent it from peeling off prematurely.

Do not use Gelous products if you have extremely short nails or if your nails are in poor condition (thin, dry or split).
