It has a soft sipper straw which is gentle on your child’s tender gums and emerging teeth and is recommended by a Paediatric Dentist*. My son is far too young to teach to do that but by using a small pair of scissors and cutting out a hole in the seal, he no longer needs to bite the straw to get liquid out and with that issue out of the way, these are fairly robust, clean easily and are overall good cheap drinking cups. The flow from the straw is very minimal though so it's a bit concerning and puts my daughter off from drinking from this. Your little one will find the transition from bottle to cup an easy one with the cup’s soft silicone spout and the unique contour shape that easily fits their small hands. Firstly the product i recieved is nothing like the one advertised, secondly we've used this cup for less than 2 weeks, and ive only ever hand washed it and it is already leaking SO MUCH!

The cup is built to be extra strong with crystal clear Tritan from Eastman, so will survive any adventure and any tantrum. It’s not something I can hand my 9 month old and leave her to use, she will tip it upside down and get drenched so you will have to hold it in place while they get to grips with it. The only problem we’ve found has been we can’t fully clean the straws so we use with just the top half of the straw.
