Description

As the very first spicy-floral fragrance in the history of perfume, this timeless scent has become a veritable olfactive icon. The 'tobacco' felt like having been macerated with pepper and some sandalwood that cut off some of that ruggedness, but when mixed with lily . The second fragrance, L'Air du Temps, remains the label's best selling perfume; a bottle is sold every ten seconds around the world. Not an unpleasant scent but very, very soapy and easily recognisable as something popular with over 70s. It becomes woody and musky as it fades, becoming a sweet amber skin scent with just a whisper of oakmoss apparent as it disappears.

To Hannibal, Clarice Starling smells like hope for humanity and looking forward to what life has to offer even after horrible trauma! At the base of this timeless, sophisticated fragrance is seductive iris enwrapped the sensuality of sandalwood and the warmth of cedar and vetiver to create the iconic and long-lasting trail. They don’t smell the same to me, the notes vary slightly in all of them, but there’s enough similarity that if you like one, chances are you might like the others. I´m glad you can enjoy the scent of L'Air du Temps because of those sweet memories (and outstanding smell). If I was rich enough, eccentric enough, hot enough, I feel as if I could pull it off by wearing it in these modern times, but I am neither, so on the shelf it goes. The following conditions may also qualify for VAT relief in some circumstances; Arthritis, Multiple Scierosis, Oedema, Heart Disease, Stroke. Yes, but I don't think at the office more on holidays or vacations because it's the kind of sophisticated, white, translucent perfume that relaxes you. This tells a story for me all the vintage Ricci tells a story of a woman who walks around a garden under the sun and comes across all sorts of florals and plants. I was very attracted to it because of the beautiful design, it was (and is) so rare, and probably that was the reason why I couldn´t resist playing with it. If you get the extrait it's a sweeter, less powdery, more liquified version of it in it's purest form that's the best.

The fragrance is round, airy, sophisticated, fine, slightly green the note that I adore the most, because it's a feminist green a little spicy, a little sober and serious and to the final have something myrrh a strong note that came become to much in hot weather. I wear it very infrequently now, but carnation has been a favorite flower scent for me since I was a teenager, and L’air du Temps is a carnation lover’s dream. L’air Du Temps blends into the personality of each woman to bring out her sensual charm and refinement, like a poetical breath of fresh air it portrays a serene and assertive femininity.i wonder if i should've gotten a tester of the EDP and not the EDT as i tend to love both a carnation note and vintage fragrances. AQUA (WATER), CETEARYL ETHYLHEXANOATE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE, PARFUM (FRAGRANCE), GLYCERIN, GLYCERYL STEARATE, PEG-100 STEARATE, CETYL ALCOHOL, STEARYL ALCOHOL, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, PANTHENOL, TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, DIMETHICONE, SODIUM HYALURONATE, BENZYL SALICYLATE, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, 1,2-HEXANEDIOL, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, CARBOMER, SORBITAN STEARATE, ALPHA-ISOMETHYL IONONE, HYDROXYCITRONELLAL, HEXYL CINNAMAL, DISODIUM EDTA, SODIUM HYDROXIDE, ACRYLAMIDE/SODIUM ACRYLATE COPOLYMER, EUGENOL, LINALOOL, PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM (MINERAL OIL), BENZYL BENZOATE, CITRONELLOL, LIMONENE, ISOEUGENOL, GERANIOL, TRIDECETH-6, BENZYL ALCOHOL, FARNESOL, CITRAL. The slightly unpleasant thing with LDT is that Nina Ricci perfumes is now owned by Coty and it is made in Spain, not in France.
