Description

Earlier versions made before 2003 featured an American Tele single-coil paired with two Texas Special Strat pickups and 5-way switching. Les Paul had built a prototype solid body electric guitar known as "The Log" in the 1940s, but could not market his invention. The middle position turned off the dark circuit, and turned on the tone control knob for the neck pickup. The Telecaster has always had a three-position selector switch to allow for different pickup configurations, as well as two knobs for controlling volume and tone.

S-1 switching on an American Elite Telecaster, for example, differs sharply from S-1 switching on a Classic Player Baja Telecaster. The first position stayed the same as before, with the neck pickup in "dark circuit" treble-cut mode. Unpolished nickel plated cover, vintage style cloth covered lead wire and wax potted - match it with the vintage Telecaster bridge pickup for that early '50s Telecaster sound. The lead pickup uses a powerful ceramic magnet, dual steel blades, and over-wound coils combine to provide a raw, heavy tone with amazing sustain. Squier guitars are the perfect way to get into the Fender line (Because Fender own Squier) without busting the bank. These are great if you’re starting out or just want a cheap alternative to a Fender and they’re made in the Far East. Comes with 4-conductor lead wire for multiple wiring options, and is wax potted for squeal free operation. First produced in 2010, this 22 fret guitar was then reintroduced in 2019 after some changes were made. The humble Telecaster has been around since 1951 when it changed the face of guitar-playing forever.

If you’re not 100% pleased with the sound of your Seymour Duncan pickups, you can exchange them for up to 21 days after purchase. SCAMMER WARNING: Due to a spate of recent scam attempts (some successful) recently, if you're doing a deal in the classifieds, ONLY USE PAYPAL GOODS AND SERVICES UNLESS YOU KNOW THAT INDIVIDUAL PERSONALLY. Output – The overall output of a passive pickup is influenced by several design factors: number of turns of wire on the coil(s), strength of the magnet, coil geometry and magnetic circuit geometry. This electric guitar pickup is designed to drop right into the bridge position cavity on a Fender Telecaster. Since they were manufactured in this form for 8–9 months in 1951, original Nocasters are highly prized by collectors. These are my faves in part because of the color, also because of the necks and pickups, and the way I have them each set up.

Pair with our Alnico II Pro Tele – bridge Jerry Donahue Lead Tele Keeping to that authentic Tele feel, we hand assemble this pickup with alnico 2 rod magnets, the period-correct colour and thickness of Forbon, a deep drawn chrome plated brass cover, and cloth pushback lead wires. For players who don't use a pick, you’ll notice the response feels more balanced compared with pickups that use alnico 5 magnets.
