This all fits Futaba pretty well. She does do some soul-searching and eventually comes to realize that she must trust in herself and her memories to reach the truth about her past (namely that she was not to blame for her mother's death). At first she is also very lonely and, well, isolated so yeah the Hermit arcana makes perfect sense for her.
