the men in this series are just top tier . and the spunk in all the females good lord i love this series and this author . Alastair had the rich man going through something brooding vibe, and Kenya is a independent & opinionated woman that has had to work for everything that she’s accomplished. I absolutely LOVED that when Alastair would come at Kenya crazy and she would correct him every time.

This series has officially "jumped the shark" with this book. What a nightmare experience just to get to the end. Forget the kids half the time I could barely keep up with the other couples mentioned (this after having read all of THEIR stories in the series!).When you consider that, you realize that he just needed a good ol' slap on the forehead, and their problems would've been 'fixed'. His reason was valid although he could've tried harder to reach her; Ris and her mum didn't need to find it all out the way they did. That was wild considering how valid his reason was. However I love the story, second chance romance but it not has been correctly executed, and I also love the storyline with Joel but even that was not well executed. This is a sweet and heartwarming romance novel that explores themes of second chances and forgiveness. The author does an excellent job of creating complex and relatable characters who readers will root for from the very beginning.

The embarrassment of Cody and Clarissa's first time seeing each other in the beginning was way to cringy, I was mortified just reading it. The story was so beautiful. The way they loved and the reality of poverty in the United States was heartbreaking.However the hand was too strong on the “becoming an independent woman” line that resulted in the cliché of women being represented as this annoying creatures incapable of recognizing their own mistakes. A "file MD5" is a hash that gets computed from the file contents, and is reasonably unique based on that content. His saint and sinner struggle was over the top at times but understandable. I love getting lost in theses series, seeing the way Cody cared for Joel. You could see from the beginning, I don’t why it’s so hard for men to show feelings. Sometimes I feel I care to much, I put up with my ex negative for 5 1/2 after the divorce because my youngest was scare and didn’t want his dad to be homeless. Unfortunately my situation turned out bad compared to Clarissa, she and Cody realized there issues and was able to be stronger together. Myself I realized I needed him out of my house because it was tearing me apart mentally.I kept getting annoyed with how she kept seeing the good in people win, even though he did something very horrible to her about it for good reasons. She couldn’t see it in him. I found that very hypocritical. The FMC was - to put it bluntly - insufferable: demanding, weak, a pushover (an inconsistent one may I add) and overall trying too hard which is a shame since the book had potencial.

While this book is not part of the seven book _______ Romance series, it is set in the same universe. I loved that because I was not quite yet ready to let go of the Farmhouse Ladies and the men obsessed with their wives. I think I can tell that the author has definitely fine-tuned relationship writing end. I’m very much for loving it. Please report metadata errors at the source library. If there are multiple source libraries, know that we pull metadata from top to bottom, so the first one might be sufficient. Still, I REALLY enjoyed this book. Maybe I'm a little too easy to please, I don't know. I think that even with the way the story unfolded and whatnot (not those awful disruptions though), their story still made sense to me (because people are weird and complex, common sense isn't common to all, miscommunications happen, and people sometimes choose to keep the lousiest things to themselves, you know).

Although technically The Re-Proposal could be considered a slow burn or a groveling hero book, it didn't really hit the slow burn/groveling hero spot for me.
