This was an up your nose, vomit-like synthetic lemon that stayed & stayed & stayed. Somewhere vaguely behind it were some spices & incense notes. That was it........ Again! ....... Where was my Aramis? I think the term 'barbershop' is often overused to describe scents within the modern frag community. With that being said...Aramis could be succinctly summed up as a barbershop scent. Well, I (in the most respectful way possible) do not agree with people who say it's ruined and not worth buying anymore. the good thing about this reformulated one is that the adhesive synthetic notes have been toned down and it's just much more mellowed down and you can wear it with much more confidence without gassing the whole room! The lovely Aramis we love and care for is still there. So what is the problem?

Aramis Tuscany For Men is an assertive, elegant and sophisticated male fragrance by Aramis. Aramis Tuscany For Men is a softly spoken, elegant and charming masculine aroma.It’s deeper and richer and warm, made for suits and uptowners. Very powerful, masculine, and sophisticated. We like to think of this as an old school Aramis aftershave. Who can wear it: Some month ago a potent cold took away about half of my olfactory sense. The only scents able to penetrate the olfactory fog are for the time garlic, onion, perfumes and different spices. And cheese. Well, this scent stays much less active to the point that you can't even smell it after 3-4 hours without smelling it directly on the spot. Age-wise, I find Aramis to be suitable for almost every age group except for teens on which neither its connotations to its past nor its clean-cut currentness make much sense.

Today I still wear it but it on my Aramis rotation. I now have 20 different kinds of Aramis on my shelf along with do many other fragrances -(Hogo boss, Joop, Calvin klein etc... etc...!) but with Aramis you know you are going to get both longevity and projection which is a trademark of the house. EDT’s are not as highly concentrated in oils and elixirs as an EDP or Perfume would be and contain one to three per cent of fragrance oils. This impacts the ability of the fragrance to last and around eighty percent of the oils in an EDT fragrance will evaporate within three hours of application. It was much stronger then. The kind of thing where you walk into a club full of people and cigarette smoke, and everybody turns their head, knowing you're wearing Aramis. OK, I'm exaggerating a slight bit, but it was quite overpowering. And smelled better than now.

Both animalistic and classic with the smell of pine, leather, and oakmoss. This is essentially a vintage 70s and 80s fragrance for the countryside’s outdoorsy types old school and natural. Who can wear it: Startled (and slightly aroused), you take in the aroma escaping from the room. That is the smell of "Aramis."

It emanates of aniquation and nostalgia, transporting you to the era of, when people exclaim, "they don't make them like that anymore". So yeah… um… I wanted to like this (modern formulation) more than I do. The opening is pretty good (my wife loves it). But the dry-down loses it for me. well, surprise surprise it has literally been my most complimented fragrance...out of everything I own, by woman...pretty woman! lol anyway, I only relate this story to say no matter what is trending, what the youtubers say woman like, dont like, until you get out there yourself and wear it for a bit of time, you never know what people will say...I was very pleasantly surprised. In those days, I knew nothing of olfactive families, and it's only now that I see: HAVANA is a fougère. A spicy fougère, but a fougère nonetheless.It is not a fresh perfume, nor a sweety perfume, it is a strong masculine perfume, so it is not suitable for young men, but rather for mature men. I mostly get the base notes, which are expertly mixed and gives me the manly smell that I wear & smell like. There is simply nothing else like this on the market. And nothing this badass. The modern fragrance market is saturated with overly sweet, metrosexual, generic men’s fragrances. This is not for a teen or anyone in their 20’s. I would say it is for 35+ years of age.
