Nigel Cawthorne is an Anglo-American writer of fiction and non-fiction, and an editor. He has written more than 80 books on a wide range of subjects and has contributed to The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph Daily Mail and The New York Times. He has appeared on television and BBC Radio 4's Today programme. The fact this man openly speaks about his mental health troubles amidst the nature of his upbringing and line of work is inspiring.

It will be Whyte's first world title opportunity after a long and frustrating wait, while it will be Fury's UK homecoming after emerging unbeaten through a riveting trilogy against Deontay Wilder. This was a very interesting read, I've never been a big fan of him just from seeing his fights but I can see now I've judged him quite unfairly. There is alot more to him that it seems. The front he puts out to the public is not the real man underneath. He is so open and honest about his mental illnesses and how he has had to deal with them. Some very sad parts to read about too. In 2015 Tyson Fury was poised for a shot at the dominant heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko and certain he would win, despite the long odds on his upsetting the steely Ukrainian. “He was thirty-nine years old and clearly slowing down…For some reason, he couldn’t see his end was on the horizon, but I could.”Sometimes, the whole “Gypsy King” showman drama – being carried to the ring on a throne in one of the Wilder fights – may occlude Fury’s genuinely impressive achievements in the ring. The man himself says it’s just an act, designed to maximise attention and therefore viewers and profit. Perhaps, but this is a guy who refers to himself in the third person and it’s just possible that the act has taken up more permanent residence in his personality. Larger than life is all very well for the length of a boxing promotion, but it can soon become tiring in life.

Dillian Whyte has shown in the past he has heavy hands that can KO any heavyweight. Should Tyson Fury fear him? A truly great book. I always make how good an autobiography is if I feel I become a bigger fan of the person after I finished the book than I was when I started the book. In the case of this book, I was that was done by the time I finished the introduction. I wish to thank Ad Lib Publishers for providing a copy of the book via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. His seemingly perpetual battle with bi-polar and depression, raising a large family, numerous personal tragedies, sheer grit and determination, and all while competing at the highest level. He also dispels the many myths surrounding traveller communities which is always a win-win.Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte to fight at Wembley Stadium on April 23 for WBC heavyweight championship Going from the highest of highs winning heavyweight championships to the lowest of the low with his depression, this book tells all. What an absolute legend this guy is. He's hilarious, hard working, honest and just a genuine person.
