The problem your having with the Joyo Acetone (VOX amp emulation pedal) is by placing it front of either the VOX AC15 VR or Amplug, you are either putting in front of a VOX amp or in front of a VOX Amplug AC30, you should only have only have one in your chain at a time.

To turn the AC Tone into a British, 6 components values have to be changed, but maybe most of the tonal change could be achieved with 4 or less . By the way, the jumper and the empty pads after the speaker sim could be used to host a "miked cab" simulation (aka bridged-T filter), just like the SansAmp GT-2. The dang thing sounds like a Vox, and has all the great chime and breakup you'd want out of an AC-amp. It does make a nice transparent pedal platform, and has good dynamics and feel like a real amp, especially with a dirt or preamp pedal in front.

This configuration should be more versatile than the proper Liverpool : you can still cut the bass, but not obliged to. Re: Using a DI -- I had never thought of that as a tone shaper; only used it as intended to feed a balanced signal to a board.

What I can say though is that through an amp the Wampler Thirty Something does a great job of putting the AC 30/15 tones and the tone controls are like those found on AC 30 Top Boost amps and the bass and treble and top cut work exactly like they should and do provide the nasal burns type sound when the bass is up full and the treble on to where it starts to bite. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases. However when I used it into the PA it sounded a little bit flat sounding and I eventually learned there is no cab sim included via Wamplers Facebook page. This pedal can crate a range of sounds due to the in built EQ which allows you to control the Mid, High and Low ranges.It's not true-bypass, but you don't care because the opamp before drives your signal with an appropriately low impedance.
