About this deal

The compact, lightweight Lenovo ThinkVision M14 is a winning choice as a mobile monitor for business or personal use. You can display video and other content over the USB connection from a laptop with a compatible USB-C port, and simultaneously power the M14 from the laptop through the same USB-C connection.

However, if you’re thinking about plugging in something like a smartphone or Nintendo Switch then it’s unlikely to work. The ThinkVision M14 is great for mobile productivity because it is packed with impressive portability, connection, and flexibility characteristics. Colours are decent too with 99% of sRGB and 75% AdobeRGB – not that many users will need accurate colour from a second monitor. Established in 2010, Laptop Outlet is one of the UK’s leading tech retailers, offering new and refurbished tech devices, including laptops, smartphones, PCs, tablets, accessories, and much more.It delivers clear text thanks to its high pixel density, but the 14 inch screen may not be big enough to open multiple windows side-by-side.

However, the Gigabyte is a gaming monitor that's more versatile for other uses because it has a larger screen, a higher refresh rate, quicker response times, and it gets brighter. Our range of cleaning and hygiene supplies feature everything that is essential for catering and cleaning.Since 2004, I have worked on PCMag’s hardware team, covering at various times printers, scanners, projectors, storage, and monitors. If you would like to be frugal, then the ThinkVision M14 with its 60 Hz would be better than its more advanced equivalents because panels with faster refresh rates tend to cost more. The BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P and the Lenovo ThinkVision M14 are okay overall monitors, but they're for different uses.

The ThinkVision M14 is compatible with laptops of any screen size that have a USB Type-C connector that supports DP1. It's a good secondary monitor for your laptop for use on the go, and the smaller screen helps it produce sharp text thanks to the high pixel density. Compatible with notebooks of any screen size that come with an advanced USB Type-C port, the ThinkVision M14 can either extend or duplicate your notebook display with one plug. The Dell is more versatile because it gets brighter, has better reflection handling, and supports HDR, but the Lenovo is to be used on the go anyways. It doesn't support HDR, and it's not good for gaming because it's limited to a 60Hz refresh rate and has slow response times that make motion look blurry. It comes with a stand with great ergonomic adjustments, and it's better to use in well-lit rooms because of its higher brightness and better reflection handling. There weren't any instructions on how to do this in the user guides, and we had to find a more detailed manual online. In case you are just feeling like doing casual work and perhaps some non-competitive gaming, the ThinkVision M14's 6 ms of response speed is built for that. Even though it has a smaller 14 inch screen and 1080p resolution, it delivers clear text due to its high pixel density.
