About this deal

The most common of the smaller propane containers are the familiar large dark-green 453g / 1lb canisters. The 132g MicronTrail Stove with Duo connector, model P321456, was advertised as weighing 132g, however my example weighs 127g. None of these are of much use to any backpacker passing through as most stoves will not connect to them and they gather cobwebs for months. Problem is that I do not have the fitting to empty them and I am apprehensive about puncturing them. Campingaz stuff is usually all compatible with each other - regulator clips onto the cylinder and the rubber hose from the regulator slots onto the gas in connector on the stove.

There are probably advantages to newer technology, but this is still a cool little gadget that I'm hanging on to! The second type of adapter is for the aerosol-style canisters that are intended for the briefcase gas hob style stove. The old types have pierceable C206 cyclinders that are gradually giving way to the more common Easy Clic CV connectors. Plus, I’ve included details of some little known adaptors that will allow you to use any gas cylinder on your camping stove and three stoves that will take more than type of canister.Le choix de adaptateur de recharge de propane à partir d'un portail en ligne ou d'une application mobile est pris en charge sur notre site Web. There are only a few manufacturers of [screw thread] canisters world wide, and they manufacture all the different brands. I just got my stove out because of the approaching hurricane and the possibility of losing power and realized that I am finally out of gaz! If it is a lindal valve type, it is invariably empty and some lazy git has declined to pack out his rubbish. These are compatible with the very great majority of backpacking gas stoves and are a type of canister found across the World. I didn’t realize there would be an issue until after I received the setup, so I’ve spent an ungodly amount of time figuring out how to get around this situation.Alaska Raft Connection- I have around 12 fuel canisters for the old 206 stove and the stove still works.

It’s possible that this question has already been answered but if it has I can’t find the question or response. The canisters are intended to be used horizontally, and may feed liquid gas, resulting in a big flare, if not used flat with the correct side up. If it has a screw-type lindal connector then it can be connected to a remote stove with no need for an adapter.

No problem getting the old jet off the Turbo 260, but wow, I could not get the new jet off the Coleman Peak One stove. I have not found a modern canister stove that matches the Turbo 270 quality--even when used in 10-20 degree weather several times. They are an old and very simple design that just isn’t compatible with the more modern (and safer) alternatives.

Like the previous adapter, these adapters are manufactured from brass, various alloys and plastic, with little in the way of moving parts. According to this link, the CV470 can only be directly connected to Campingaz appliances with Easy-Clic: https://www.I have an Ozark Trail two burner camp stove which I bought from Walmart in 2016 when travelling in America.
