will be skipping this book, because although i love isiah as an uncle, i do not like him as a main character. I know there are some people for whom the self-conscious carefulness of KC’s writing can sometimes jar. I love the delightfully whimsical way this book is written and tell me… is there anything better then butterfly inducing banter!Georgie’s journey is one of self-discovery and more importantly self-acceptance, becoming comfortable with who she is and doing what makes her happy with the love and support of her family and friends. Just as Georgie makes this decision, she's surprised by a new development: it turns out that Levi Fanning – once a troublemaking, angry kid who became infamous in the town, and now a quiet, grumpy dock construction worker with a face carefully carved by God – has been promised by her parents that he could stay in their house for the next two weeks. The characters were great and while I am not a huge fan of instant love and this one came close to that I thought it worked. Quirky and sweet, she is a good friend, a loving daughter and someone who is always willing to lend a helping hand. With a perfect dose of humor, wisdom and insight and an endearing cast of characters, Georgie, All Along by Kate Clayborn is an emotional, heartwarming and feel-good read that will leave you with a smile on your face. Georgie is impulsive, flighty, flexible, funny, a great organizer of others’ time and things, and she’s confused about her future. Space scientists can put together another test, if they wish – how many alien planets would enjoy this book. And I recognise it may sound weird to be “complaining” about heteronormativity in books that are ostensibly about straight people but, well, heteronormativity is like the patriarchy.

But beyond sounding like a letch, what can I say about this – the beauty's third large dose of essays, web columns and other journalism? Just a warning though, it tends to get a bit graphic so if that is something that would bother you as a reader be warned. Touching upon themes of loneliness, isolation, family, friendship, love and kindness, this is a story that will strike a chord in your heart.

Honest and deeply emotional, Georgie, All Along is a smart, tender must-read for everyone who’s ever wondered about the life that got away . So while this was a relaxing way to spend an afternoon reading, I was really hoping for more gravitas to the story. The Tormentor co-worker can become emboldened in the hybrid workspace; their communication may lack the empathy they would be compelled to show in face-to-face interactions.Unfortunately—or serendipitously—Georgie’s parents have forgotten to mention that they’ve already organised a house-sitter—a local named Levi, who is a bit of a hermit and a man of few words, dealing with a bad reputation that’s followed him from his youth into his thirties. The fun, colourful illustrations bring this much loved festive song to life, while the large sound button plays the popular melody.

To start at the beginning there is a strong chance a large portion, namely the male one, will not get far with this book if they're unaware of the delights it might hold. Katie is one of those people, going before us, holding our hands, leading us through these pages in the way that led her to Him. With a fun melody and bright, colourful illustrations, each book is perfect for curious babies or toddlers discovering their world.Start to finish there was just so much great here and I honestly don't know what else to say about it except : read it. It isn’t for people with red hair, girls, small people, twins, people with glasses or people who like tunnels.
