Giffard began during the summer of 1885, when Émile Giffard (a dispensing chemist) took an interest in the digestive and refreshing properties of mint. On dark and cold autumn nights I enjoy nothing more than a warming liqueur and Homemade Creme De Mure is even more satisfying knowing I made it. It’s a wonderful flavour which brings together the essence of the blackberry and primes it perfectly to match with fine champagnes, dry white wines and any number of white spirit cocktails which need an extra kick.
