which we read in australia before we managed to get this one, Guess what we bought in advance of its publication ? This book is about two kid-authors who spend the entire book procrastinating and then (spoilers) at the last minute pull through and finish their project by WRITING ABOUT HOW THEY PROCRASTINATED. It can be about socializing or history, morality or science, but there should be something in the stories we give to our children that offer them tools with which to approach the world. Two guys live in a really cool treehouse and have some really cool things, but after the "tour" in the first few pages, it's pretty much a book about two guys who are supposed to be writing a book, which ends up being the book we are now reading. Andy and Terry have added thirteen new levels and built their biggest and most astonishing treehouse yet!Griffiths and Denton create a metafictional triumph to engage even the most determined hater of books. They end up going to the underground laboratory so they can shrink her down with the banana enlarger.
