It's harsh, it is, but it's part of the scent, it's meant to be loud and suitable for the summer so you're bound to get some spicy lemony scent and I'm not sad about that, it adds to the attention pulling aspect of the fragrance and its masculinity. After half an hour it does its magic and becomes a smooth well-rounded scent that is smoky, masculine and fresh. If people aren't complimenting you, you have too much cologne on (2-3 sprays MAX with this one) *disclaimer* younger ladies teens to twenty do not enjoy this whatsoever this is a boys night frag. I get great longevity with my newer batch of Aventus, actually slightly better than this, but cdnim does project quite a bit more. I can recommend it if you need something strong for winter, but otherwise I would recommend something softer.

Well considering the fact that the opening is harsh and synthetic but taking others factors into consideration, "THIS IS A GREAT PERFUME", I used Mont Blanc explorer as well but when I came through this stuff, I was blown away.Armaf's Club de Nuit Intense Man, a symphony of citrus and spice, invites you on an olfactory journey that's as bold as it is exhilarating. Some people think the opening is off-putting, but the blast of lemon you get from the EDT, and lemon/pineapple combo from the EDP, smell fantastic to me. For trained noses, when the scent is going away after 9 hours, it can be astringent and synthetic just as the beginning.

My gf, who only routinely compliments one other fragrance of mine (RL Supreme Oud), comments on this fragrance every single time I wear it. There is a very tart, very harsh, very sour note that even comes off as mouldy that is very persistent and loud. Not that much citrus after 30 minutres and after an hour it smells amazing, masculine and just a great scent.Instead, it bears a striking resemblance to Explorer Mont Blanc, a scent often criticized for its synthetic and harsh nature. Blind bought this out of hype for it being a Creed Aventus clone, although I've only smelt Creed Aventus once, I can see the similarities when it starts drying down.
