About this deal

This stunning new edition gives the classic tale of depraved murder and unrelenting horror its most complete and illuminating presentation yet. Well, the child was not much the worse, more frightened, according to the Sawbones; and there you might have supposed would be an end to it.

And yet it's not so sure; for the buildings are so packed together about that court, that it's hard to say where one ends and another begins .The published volume, not uploaded here, also contains a full transcription of the manuscript drafts, a detailed and documented history of composition and publication (in the 'Textual Notes'), and Explanatory Notes (which, among other things, comment on many of the examples of 'strange language' in the text). An Introduction outlining composition and early reception, an overview of critical interpretations, an analysis of the language of the text and a section on derivative works. It is about a London lawyer named Gabriel John Utterson who investigates strange occurrences between his old friend, Dr Henry Jekyll, and the misanthropic Edward Hyde. Dr Hastie Lanyon, a mutual acquaintance of Jekyll and Utterson, dies of shock after receiving information relating to Jekyll. Stevenson is one of my favorite authors and this is my first annotation project, probably his most famous story.

Utterson [1] the lawyer was a man of a rugged countenance that was never lighted by a smile; cold, scanty and embarrassed in discourse; backward in sentiment; lean, long, dusty, dreary and yet somehow lovable. We exclude and expressly disclaim all express and implied warranties or conditions not stated in this Agreement (including without limitation, loss of income, loss or corruption of data, business interruption or loss of contracts), so far as such exclusion or disclaimer is permitted under the applicable law. I feel very strongly about putting questions; i t partakes too much of the style of the day of judgment. unlikely, in any high-profile man-hunt involving the general public there are invariably many false leads.UTTERSON the lawyer was a man of a rugged countenance, that was never lighted by a smile; cold, scanty and embarrassed in discourse; backward in sentiment; lean, long, dusty, dreary, and yet somehow lovable. In his quest to separate these opposing aspects, he concocts a potion that transforms him into an entirely different the nefarious and amoral Edward Hyde.
