About this deal

This scent could be easily (and inexpensively) found in a mall body spray (like Victoria's Secret) with the same staying power. It was a bit too sweet for me, but since I had a small bottle I used it up pretty quickly and moved on to other scents I liked more. Escada sometimes has a sourness to their fruit notes and can sometimes smell too sweet or like a fruit bowl. Ed Hardy was a brand heavily supported by the late Christian Audigier (of Von Dutch fame) at the time, launching a dozen failed boutiques and trying to make tattoo culture seem "haute bourgeois" by targeting well-to-do folks and celebs. It opens with a strong alcohol note (Martini's coquetel note, maybe) but in other hand this edt smells delicious after first ten minutes.

Smells exactly like "fancy" grade canned fruit cocktail, lying in a puddle of heavy syrup, with mushy cubes of unidentifiable fruits punctuated by bright-magenta maraschino cherries. Unlike many perfumes with apple scents in them, this one doesn't smell fake or highly concentrated to me. Luckily for me I bought a set of this cologne that include underarm deodorant, with the shampoo, so this extends everything a little longer but not much.It is clean and yummy, not my absolute favourite of the EH lines but a wonderful floral-fruity fragrance. I also think the artwork, with its skulls and heavy tattoo suggestion, doesn't match the scent at all, being so girly and fruity, but it is a big part of the brand. It smells similar to the original, but fresher and cooler smelling, and I don't get any woodiness or "old lady trying to be young" from this at all.

The first impression was a bad one, and I was equally repulsed with the bright magenta "punk" bottle. Make no mistake, it is an Ed Hardy design but it is a very unique bottle design, even differing from the typical glass top. There isn't anything remarkable about the scent and doesn't quite live up to the original Audigier women's perfume. Wallymart has small bottles of most of the Ed Hardy line (missing Villian, but that's very new) and I've been scooping them up, this one is going to be used much more than the others which I liked at first but then didn't like so much after a few days (plus the husband didn't really like them). I think these perfumes from Ed Hardy are along the fruity/vanilla line the original one is more citrus, pepper, wood. My favorite perfume from Christian Audigier is his debut perfume (his namesake), that is big bottle worthy, but the little bottles of the Ed Hardy perfumes are nice too.
