TARS and CASE – A closer look at the two robots in the film, their “inspiration”, the voices used and the mechanics of both.Meant to be thought inspiring but not preachy, Christopher Nolan’s typical approach to filmmaking, enhanced by visual expression, is fully realized as the world of Interstellar has a tangible aesthetic that is captivating thanks to outstanding production elements and spot on direction. I think that he has come into his own as a dramatic actor and his performance here is another example of that. I guess what I wanted to know was while we were gone in space, did things just stay status quo on Earth? If he was the only actor in this film for 2+ hours I would sit idly by and bask in his radiant brilliance.
