As far as my mentioning of the DCU above, I as well enjoy their movies too and can tell a difference in them vs MCU.

I entered the film with an open mind, not particularly expecting action for 2hrs 35 mins but the film is laboured and once it has failed to grip you, the next hour and a half become fairly meaningless. I really like that Marvel is creating a whole new theme and set of characters to move beyond The Avengers fanchise. Zhao's influence has clearly informed the choice of natural environments, beachfronts, jungles and so forth, with even the signature costumes the lead characters wear often feeling almost like an organic extension of Ancient Greek and Egyptian robes, obviously imbued by futuristic notes. Marvel Studios’ ETERNALS follows a group of ancient heroes from beyond the stars who had protected the Earth since the dawn of man. Well, here’s an odd day but I'm finding this 1080p Blu-ray transfer is actually a better overall viewing experience than the 4K disc.
