About this deal

So just in case you haven't read that yet please be aware that there may be some spoilers for the first book in this review! From the mid-nineteenth century, the image of the sun never setting can be found applied to Anglophone culture, explicitly including both the British Empire and the United States, for example in a speech by Alexander Campbell in 1852: "To Britain and America God has granted the possession of the new world; and because the sun never sets upon our religion, our language and our arts. Doing a whale safari or exploring the wilderness inland takes on a new dimension at night in the summer months, when you literally get to see the nature and wildlife in a different light. If it weren't for you and being sad because a guy didn't like you, none of this goddamn mess would have happened! I feel bad for leaving a bad review but this book reminds me of my wattpad era of reading bad books and leaving bad reviews so I’m giving it the same energy😗.

I found that in this book, they aren't just young, immature college students, but adults who have both been through some hardships (maybe one more than the other). So when I got the opportunity to read ‘If The Sun Never Sets Again’ I started reading as soon as possible. The two have gone their separate ways and have made successful names for themselves, while never ever being able to forget about each other. Farrah’s mother doesn’t tell her what to do when it comes to her relationship, but her advice is poignant and true.In 1821, the Caledonian Mercury wrote of the British Empire, "On her dominions the sun never sets; before his evening rays leave the spires of Quebec, his morning beams have shone three hours on Port Jackson, and while sinking from the waters of Lake Superior, his eye opens upon the Mouth of the Ganges. He's still hopelessly in love with Farrah and his relationship with his family back in Texas has become even more strained. To see the Midnight Sun in its full glory, you can visit the city of Akureyri and Grimsey Island in the Arctic Circle. A rejoinder, sometimes attributed to John Duncan Spaeth, runs in one variant, "The sun never set on the British Empire, because even God couldn't trust the English in the dark".

In 1839, Sir Henry Ward said in the House of Commons, "Look at the British Colonial empire—the most magnificent empire that the world ever saw.Secondly, Blake, you TOLD her she could see other people… don't get mad when she does exactly what you said. I found it interesting that in the first book Farrah had plans and goals while Blake seemed less sure about his future. At the Arctic Circle, the Midnight Sun will be visible from around 12th June to 1st July, either side of the summer solstice (around 21st June), and is visible for progressively longer periods the further north you travel.
