About this deal

Note: laying loose, that is *unbound*, gravel or small aggregate over a hard base is never a good idea. Read the FAQ to find out more. This project is using, or will be using, a *bound* gravel, so laying over a form base is acceptable. Placing the Gravel: On this project, there’s a small area of loose gravel outside the kitchen door of a semi-rural property. It’s nothing grand or particularly special. It measures about 10 square metres and there’s a handful of flagstones set into the gravel to make it safer and easier for the homeowners, their children, and the family pets to enter and leave the building via that kitchen door. The area to be treated with the EasiHold system and a decorative marble

One gallon of this mulch glue covers 250-750 square feet, so depending on your strength, you can apply as much or as little as you like. The product can also cover areas that require a higher application rate. Plus, this product contains safe materials that won’t harm pets, plants, or children, making it an ideal choice for families who need reliable landscaping coverage. The longer Easihold is left to dry, the better. Ideally Easihold would have 48 hours of good weather to dry in - that will give you the optimal result. For those preferring to use a watering can, ensure there is a fine rose head fitted to the spout before applying. It’s then a simple task of pouring some of the ready-to-use EasiHold resin into the can before applying it to the gravelled surface. We are proud to have formulated and patented a leading new product for DIY users worldwide. We manufacture Easihold at our factory in East Yorkshire, UK. We don't white label or re-sell imported products. Easihold is a Revolutionary New Patented Stone Binder - Capable of Bonding and Fixing Loose Stones in Place.

Finding a Quality Mulch Glue: A Buyer's Guide

GravelHold can be applied in three ways, Pour-On, Spray-On or Hand Mix, which one you choose depends on how you plan to use the gravel surfaces. Here are the most common uses and the recommended technique to ensure our pour on gravel binder can perform perfectly for your intended use: Ingredients and materials required for making mulch glue at home include common kitchen items like flour, sugar, salt, cornstarch, and water, as well as non-toxic adhesives such as Elmers glue or other safe glue mixtures. Can it really be that easy? Well, as long as the instructions are followed and, absolutely critically, the correct type of aggregate is used, it genuinely is that simple. Spread the gravel, spray with the EasiHold, allow it to set, job finished. Case Study: Where the decorative aggregate is being placed over a bare sub-grade, a construction grade geo-textile could be laid before the gravel is placed – it’s not essential but it will prevent any mud or dirt ‘pumping up’ from beneath and discolouring the gravel in months to come. SUDwell™ Pour on Gravel Resin is ideal for creating decorative landscaping features, saving time and money due to not having to remove the existing surface.

Things like Elmer’s glue will need to be reapplied when the mulch begins to shift or after extreme weather conditions. Homemade mulch glue is best used for small projects like planters. What Is Mulch Glue For? Because no sub base is required this saves alot of time, effort and money, making our system cheaper and more practical than a typical resin bound installation. Mulch glue is a mixture of common kitchen ingredients, such as flour, sugar, salt, and cornstarch, that forms a paste-like substance when mixed with water. This glue can be applied to the surface of mulch and gravel to help them adhere to each other and the ground, creating a stable and durable layer that resists displacement.Weather-resistant glues are designed to retain their performance characteristics in extreme weather conditions, such as high temperatures or moisture exposure. Selecting an adhesive with superior weather resistance will ensure that your project is less likely to suffer from premature degradation due to environmental factors. UV resistance I have never used a garden sprayer before, but wow, it’s super easy. You push down on the pump a few times until you feel some resistance and then you start spraying away.
