When I say breathable, I run in sunny Las Vegas, and I’m telling you, the uppers ventilate nicely on those sweaty runs. Soles that politely grip the road If you were looking forward to a similar shoe to the Structure 22, you will be bitterly disappointed in the new Structure 23.That is not going to happen in these Zooms. Nike built in plenty of room for those toes to spread out. It gives supreme comfort during the workout, and you’ll feel great after you're done. This was such a pleasant surprise for me. Nike uses a dual-density midsole with Phylon and Cushlon materials to create what they call Dynamic Support. The result is a more consistent ride than the Pegasus and Vomero because CMP 010 foam surrounds the airbag in the forefoot whereas the forefoot of the Pegasus/Vomero feels much firmer than the rearfoot so the ride feels inconsistent.

The Structure 25 is more of a stability trainer than the 2 previous Structure versions. It has an extra heel clip, more arch support and it also has a firmer ride which results in less lean bias. My first run was 15 kilometres at an easy pace. The first thing that surprised me was how much cushion the midsole had. I know what Nike is trying to do with the Structure 25 and the latest InfinityRN 4: they want to push runners who need support away from the InfinityRN to the Structure and vice versa. The Nike Structure has never been a soft shoe. It was the firm midsole that gave it its highly stable ride. The Nike Zoom Structure are one of two stability options Nike offers. The other is the Odyssey. While the Odyssey is build for performance stability, the Zoom Structure are build to be a daily trainer.
