Maintaining the cleanliness of oil optimises performance. Clean & protect your engine for ultimate engine performance.

If cars which were fed a diet of these expensive gloops all uniformly went on to acheive starship mileages, burning little fuel while doing so, there wouldn't be much debate. The fact there's a debate suggests to me that the additives aren't up to much. I also have seen a mechanic use the gas treatment, but he used to bottles of it and the tank was already on its reserve, started it up and revved the guts out of the car, loads of white smoke came out, apprantly it cleaned the engine very well, is this true, or was too much forte used and is that bad for the car?Basically, the additive was put in on the Monday afternoon and the service carried out on the Thursday morning. Between times I drove about 150 miles at a variety of speeds. On the tuesday, after a motorway drive of about 40 miles, the car developed a rattly noise at certain engine revs. This continued through to the service, when I was advised that this would be the hydraulic tappets making the noise following the additive. I need to know if any of you can advise or tell me your experience of flushing your engines in any of the above ways???

The innovative product has been formulated with an improved blend of cleansing agents, dispersants and antiwear agents, resulting in increased cleaning and moisture emulsification throughout the lubrication system. Forté Oil System Protector is compatible with all crankcase fill oils for petrol and diesel engines, including fully synthetic, which meet the specification of API and ACEA classifications. I have tested cleaners out over a period of years including rolling road test to see what achievements could be obtained, I have been to fuel/oil research laboritries & seen fuels & oils tested on engines running flat out on dynamometers. If this is the case for your engine, it is definitely not worth using an engine flush. You would find it best to leave well enough alone and not disturb the sludge that may be the only real barrier keeping oil from leaking past the seals in the older engine. If you do use it in this situation, you could end up with a leaking engine or worse. So is engine flush worth it? Another German made formula that’s highly rated is the SYPRIN Original, which is suitable for the majority of petrol or diesel engines. The 250 ml bottle is enough to treat up to 5 litres of oil and it takes just 10 to 15 minutes to get to work. The new engine flush removes sludge, varnish and lacquer caused by the effects of biodiesel and ethanol based fuels, as well as the heightened soot loading of the engine oil through the use of EGR and exhaust after treatment systems.
