About this deal

When the war spread to Nebulos, the Decepticons allied with the Hive Nations and began a series of horrific biomechanical experiments on their Autobot and World Watcher prisoners of war. The result was the game-changing binary-bonding process, a fusion of Decepticon and Nebulan technology. It wasn't long until the Autobots reverse-engineered the process and deployed Headmasters of their own, then improved on the process to create Targetmasters. The Decepticons upped the ante by introducing the colossal double-Headmaster MegaZarak, forcing the Autobots to deploy the equally gargantuan Fortress Maximus. The result was the Scouring of Nebulos. A Brush With Infamy–Prologue Head Games During Jazz's roll-call of the Autobots, he neglects to call out Cliffjumper's name. The little red guy transforms anyway. At some point, Optimus Prime had transformation cog modified to give him an experimental combiner mode, allowing him and four of his soldiers to form Optimus Maximus. Though the combination was unstable, they managed to employ it to defeat Slugslinger during the battle over the Transform Super Cog before an energy wave from Megatron split them apart. Optimus fought Megatron one on one until his nemesis was by chance suddenly powered up into a Transmetal body, after which he retreated to deal with Slugslinger. Slugslinger's Ambition

A posable figure of Ginrai in his Godmaster armor was made by CM's Corporation as part of their Gutto Kuru Figure Collection series. He comes with a number of different hands, his helmet, three swappable heads with different expressions and three matching swappable faces for when he's wearing the helmet. Tōru and Jenny celebrated their success with a public display of affection. Curious, Optimus began to ask them embarrassing questions, swatting Tōru in the bottom with his mighty robot finger. Full Throttle Scramble Power! Ginrai's supplementary bio card states that he is 20 years old. It also implies that he is an American of Japanese descent instead of a native of Japan. As with the other binary bonding technologies, the Powermaster procedure requires extensive cybernetic surgery and specially designed power armor used by the subject. These changes allow an organic being to transform into a powerful engine and bond themselves to a properly modified Transformer. The initial advantage to this procedure was survival: When all the ordinary fuel sources on the planet Nebulos were rendered toxically radioactive, the Powermasters provided an alternate source of energy. In this new, parallel world, the Protector explained that he had acted to preserve the "BT World" because it was the origin point for the ultimate evolution of Cybertronian life, the Alternity, of whose he was an agent. Optimus Prime soon recovered from his injuries and adopted a Binaltech body of his own; it was thanks to the attributes of this new body that he and the other Binaltech Autobots were able to avoid being shut down when they triggered the Quintesson's killswitch, deactivating nearly all the Decepticons. Kill Switch With their enemies all but eradicated by this move, the Autobots were free to start conducting experiments under the Protector's direction that would ultimately lead to the future he had spoken of. Unfinished Business, Part 3 When the Protector's spark was stolen by the new leader of the remaining Decepticons—an evil clone of Optimus known as Nemesis Prime—Prime engaged his evil doppelganger in battle in Australia. During the fight, the Protector's spark fused with Prime—an experience that Prime found strangely familiar—giving him the power to destroy Nemesis Prime. Unfinished Business, Part 4

Cab and Shūta weren't impressed by the new Autobot Supreme Commander, Star Saber, and registered their disappointment with his human son, Jan. According to them, God Ginrai was the superior Commander as he had a human heart acting as his conscience, while Star Saber was strictly a cold, unfeeling robot. Jan took exception to this, but Cab and Shūta were eventually won over when they witnessed Star Saber show compassion to the Decepticon Kakuryu. Star Saber, Warrior of Love! PDTF Comic

When the Autobots and Decepticons fight aboard the Ark, there are two Starscreams - one fighting Prowl, the other fighting Ironhide. In the Autobot roll call scene, when Jazz calls Prowl's name, Cliffjumper transforms as well. Ratchet is shown in vehicle mode, even though Jazz never called his name. Finally, near the end, Optimus Prime's headlights are red instead of white, but in the next scene this is corrected. There are some fantastic sculpted details that really get to shine in this mode. The towers for instance feature raised sections that look like some type of vent and exhaust system. At the base of each ramp are small details including gears, tubes and what look like tanks that could store liquids or gas. I love little details like this, especially in a base mode. Titan Master figures can become the head for any Deluxe Class, Voyager Class, or Leader Class Titans Return figures. Unite this Titan Master Autobot Apex figure with other bots to create different combinations, or unite other Titan Master figures with this Powermaster Optimus Prime figure. Additional figures are each sold separately. Subject to availability. Megatron's mouth doesn't move when he asks who is firing after Cliffjumper attempts to assassinate him.The Headmaster process leaves its subject Transformers with one glaring disadvantage: when separated from their partners, they have no head. Most can continue to function as vehicles without their partners, but can do little in robot mode besides stand around. The resurrected Prime led a team of Autobots to the Decepticons' base on Chaar to recover the heat-resistant alloy they had stolen, so that Prime could coat his body in it and make himself impervious to the Hate Plague. Thus protected, Optimus confronted Rodimus and defeated him in battle, reacquiring the Matrix so that he could consult the lifeforces of the ancient Autobots within it for a way to defeat the Hate Plague. Informed by " It" that the only way to cure the disease was with wisdom, Prime unleashed the concentrated wisdom of the Matrix itself to wipe out the plague. The Return of Optimus Prime, Part 2 As the Marvel Comics continuity closed with Hi-Q merged into Optimus Prime, arguably any of Prime's post-Marvel exploits could qualify as an appearance for Hi-Q. Technically, the same could be said of any toy representing that version of Prime, including the Action Master, Generation 2, and Classics toys. He comes with " Autobot Roller", who can transform into a six-wheel armored SUV, a robot with 3 mm-compatible hands, and a weapon with a 5 mm handle. He has a 5 mm hole in vehicle mode and a 3 mm hole in weapon mode for mounting the Ion Blaster. The fourth and final Ginrai PVC rendered the character in his basic robot form, released in the fifth, Masterforce-centric Act of the series. This figure was available in both full-color and metallic silver "pewter" versions, one of each in every case of twelve figures.

Ratchet is shown splitting into his robot form and his repair bay; however, the repair bay is never seen again. Powermaster technology was invented by the transtector factory computer in G Nebula 89 as part of its mission to find ways of merging organic and mechanical life. Millennia ago, the constructed but unprogrammed Powermaster bodies were stolen by Devil Z, who altered them into Godmaster transtectors by exposing them to both Zodiac and Angolmois Energy. Bonus Edition Vol. EX Optimus Prime later adopted a Powermaster body, his partner being the Nebulan Hi-Q. Nucleon Quest Super Convoy bio Bonus Edition Vol. EX TechnologyThe episode ends with a preview of "Part 2". While other multi-part Transformers episodes generally refer to the episode by its title ("Next time, on The Transformers: 'The Ultimate Doom'"), this preview uses the series title, The Transformers, as "More Than Meets the Eye" is a retroactive name for the three-part episode, which began as a mini-series before becoming a regular program. Optimal Optimus (is he technically the combination of Prime's Spark in the rare occurrence where he is the upgrade rather than the one being upgraded?)
