Find out more about the FA3820X4 CO Alarm. FA3313X4: Carbon Monoxide Alarm with replaceable batteries An audible Carbon Monoxide detector is the only way to be alerted to a carbon monoxide leak; it can’t be smelt, tasted or seen so it’s impossible for human senses to detect. FireAngel’s new range of carbon monoxide alarms use intelligent sensing technology for a rapid reaction to rising levels of CO. The 7 year sealed battery powered FireAngel CO-9X carbon monoxide alarm features clear LED indicators for power, fault or alarm status and a large test/reset button for ease of testing the device. The CO detector can be wall mounted for home use, or can be left free standing, making it a suitable portable detector to take on holiday.

If your CO alarm is beeping once, twice or three times regularly, you may need to replace your alarm batteries, or you could be experiencing exposure to low levels of CO. The guide below will help to identify the cause of beeping. FireAngel’s FA3322 digital carbon monoxide alarm features many icons on the LCD screen. View our guide below to help you understand what each represents. Do not install CO alarms within 3 metres of doors or windows, above radiators, or immediately close to anything that gives off steam or fumes like a cooker or shower room. Similarly, it is not recommended to install detectors in dusty areas such as workshops or garages. Under the extended Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015, from October 1st 2022, a carbon monoxide alarm will be required in all rooms where there is a fixed combustion appliance – such as gas boilers or gas fires – once the compliance date is announced. However, gas cookers are excluded from the updated regulation. If you have had your FireAngel carbon monoxide alarm for a few years but it is still within warranty, and the isolation pin has been removed, please get in touch with our Customer Support team. If it is not within warranty, please replace your alarm as soon as possible. Why is my FireAngel CO alarm beeping? The alarm’s high sensitivity mode will be enabled if the alarm predicts CO levels will increase to or above 180ppm for fast reaction to rising CO levels. With low level CO monitoring, a pre-alarm warning to open windows helps reduce the risk of CO poisoning and prevents build-up of dangerous CO levels. If a room is not ventilated and ppm levels continue to increase, the alarm will activate.
