About this deal

Join all your favourite goodies (and baddies!) with LEGO Superhero sets - there's Thanos, The Joker, Lex Luthor, DC Comics and Marvel superheroes ready to build and recreate all the best scenes. There is also LEGO Star Wars and LEGO Ninjago, both bursting with awesome characters and adventure. Off to the left side of the Lair is a built-in skate ramp. I’m not sure why it’s attached to the main build, as it would have worked just as well as a stand-alone play feature. The accompanying video game screen displays Spider-Man swinging through New York City. Certain aspects of the design resemble the recent PlayStation 4 game, although not perfectly. Five varying Spider-Man suits appear beside the video game, including one which is enlarged and reminds me of the original Spider-Man minifigure from 2002. However, the most intriguing example is the Bombastic Bagman costume! Green Goblin has been updated though and appears better than ever, in my opinion. Purple dominates the design and his clothing is completely tattered, conveying the unhinged psyche which characterises this villain! The detailed dark bluish grey padding on his chest and knees looks wonderful too, along with Green Goblin's double-sided head and accurate headgear.

The colour scheme of green and purple is attractive and I like the contrasting horns which are situated towards the front. The thrusters mounted on the underside look reasonable too. This vehicle omits dedicated control surfaces, although that reflects the source material as Green Goblin generally directs his glider by shifting his weight. Fortunately, there is sufficient space where he can stand. I wouldn't expect to see Kingpin in a Spiderman set _unless_ it also included Daredevil, as that's really the only way I can see them producing a Daredevil minifig." This computer, to me, is honestly the coolest part of this set. It is fitted with so many fun tidbits and references to so many different things. From top left to bottom right, we have SpiderDrone analysis (for the drones included in the set), Iron Spider’s Arm data, JJJ committing corporate bullying, SpiderSuit databases, SpiderSuit analysis and a Spider-Man Video game.

The price is absolutely disgusting and the only reason I got it is because (I had Birthday Vouchers and) the Stealth/Big Time Suit (no idea why they are calling it Ultimate Spider-Man) is my favourite Spider-Man costume of all time, so I am absolutely DELIGHTED to have this figure, and indeed a pretty good version at that. A little arm printing would have really set it off, but other than that it's perfect. An ideal birthday, holiday or just-because gift for Marvel movie fans aged 8 and up who want to stand out from the crowd with the premier LEGO set Spider-Man’s HQ. LEGO components are dropped, heated, crushed, twisted and analyzed to make sure they fulfill rigorous global safety standards. Of course, the view from behind is considerably worse as some unsightly colours are visible, notably including a conspicuous trans-green plate at the centre. However, the base structure does feel exceptionally robust and the entire model is easily transportable, although that is of limited importance for location-based sets which are typically going to remain stationary. With LEGO Disney Princess sets little builders can bring magical fairy tales to life. Travel the sea with Ariel, learn Arendelle's mysteries with Elsa from Frozen, rebuild Rapunzel's tower, and create a tonne of fantastical settings from the beloved classic movies. Build exciting scenes and characters from games

Villains frequently accompany these superhero sanctuaries and two such minifigures appear here. Venom has remained unaltered since 2019 and seems suitably fearsome, featuring an intimidating head with bared teeth. The torso design is comparatively simple but matches the character's traditional comic appearance and I see little justification for alterations. All LEGO® Marvel Spider-Man playsets are cool and collectible and give kids the chance to relive favorite superhero movie moments and create imaginative stories of their own. He is a bigtime Spiderman villain. Daredevil as well, but that’s what you get when you both operate in NYC. He is one of the most important crime bosses overthere. Spiderman did team-up with Daredevil too to fight the crimebosses and the gangster wars were among the coolest stories with a lot of team-ups and villains. As far as the physical lair goes, the Armoury and Supercomputer are parts of this set I see many AFOLs potentially blowing up to a greater size and expanding upon, whereas other sections, like the prison, leaves much to be desired and most likely will be discarded to the collection. This set was provided for review by The LEGO Group but the review represents an expression of my own opinions.

Spider-Man’s spectacular headquarters measure over 5 in. (14 cm) high, 16 in. (41 cm) long and 6 in. (17 cm) wide and combine easily with other LEGO Marvel Spider-Man sets. There are six minifigures in the box, which sounds pretty good for a Marvel set. And, to its credit, three of them are brand new and exclusive: the ‘Big Time’ variant of the Stealth Spider-Suit from Marvel’s Spider-Man for PS4 (the set description refers to a ‘PlayStation’ among Pete’s many monitors, but there’s no physical game console), a fresh take on Green Goblin, and – more interestingly – what appears to be Ben Reilly, a Peter Parker clone known in-universe as Scarlet Spider. Massively juniorised (and again, I know sometimes people criticise this criticism because ultimately it is still a toy aimed at children, but larger sets can still appeal to children without becoming as dumbed down as this set). Giving Spider-Man a lair feels like a pretty solid premise. Peter Parker technically had a defunct one in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and the LEGO Group has shown it’s not averse to taking its cues from the highly-acclaimed animated movie. Plus, it makes for a nice change from the armada of pointless vehicles the web-slinger has been saddled with over the past few years. Unfortunately, it almost completely fails in its execution. Moving on to the middle of the lair, Spider-Man has his supercomputer where he can sit down and surf….the WEB.
