Pros: All the active ingredients in the primer are super hydrating and act as humectants. They all work for keeping skin hydrated and retaining moisture in the skin. When skin is hydrated, it has better elasticity, feels softer, and provides better healing. Moisture and water retention in the skin always promote healthier skin. Hydration is also essential for your makeup to hold for a longer time. Increased blood flow makes your skin look fresh and not dull. Scent In the end, this was a meh for me. Definitely a bit hyped up which could account for why I was so disappointed. I’m not really sure what all the raving is about! Maybe it’ll work better on a different skin type than my own. I don’t break out very often and I haven’t had my skin react like this before in my life. I kept wearing this product but not on the areas that I had pimples, so that I could complete the test and see if the claimed benefits would become my final result.I can usually wear fragrance ingredients in skincare well, but for some reason it made my skin break out on the third day. I had 5 deep, crater-like, pimples in a bunch of random spots (my husband and I called the one on the center of my forehead my “Unicorn Horn” as it was so bad, big, and painful).

I never noticed any skin difference in the claims that it would smooth, blur, minimizing texture, and even out skin tone. If you are concerned about using a product that will clog your pores, you should look into the matte primer from NYX Professional Makeup instead. My makeup has stayed on longer now that I’ve used less foundation, and I’m also using less foundation now that I’ve used less makeup. My face did not become jagged as a result of the procedure, and my skin was softer and less noticeable. My limit for wearing this product is 10 hours, but I believe that if you use a light foundation, you can stretch it out for more wear time.
