About this deal

There really seems no point to this – what might have seemed a great idea was executed poorly and you look at the words and think “WTF?”. It’s more like a list of desperate and disconnected words a team on The Apprentice might have come up with when given just 10 minutes…. Well this is the chocolate for you! A mixture including white, milk and dark chocolate orange flavoured chocolate. I think the Toffee Crunch is my favourite. The exploding candy isn’t overly noticeable, it doesn’t seem to “pop”. I’m not keen on the Milk Crunchy as this isn’t sufficiently exciting. A new advert in 2020, featuring voiceover by Brian Blessed, explains how the Chocolate Orange is a catalyst for "British Unsquaredness", along with a new slogan, "Deliciously Unsquare". PURPLE Segsations are Milk Chocolate – Terry’s Milk Chocolate Orange with the essence of real orange oil. These are just regular chocolate orange pieces, so again, “the same” pretty much.

Sugar, Cocoa Mass, Cocoa Butter, Skimmed 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 Powder, Whey Powder (from 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤), Vegetable Fats (Palm, Shea), 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 Fat, Emulsifiers (𝐒𝐨𝐲𝐚 Lecithins, E476), Orange Oil, Flavouring, 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 Solids 14 % minimum, Cocoa Solids 25 % minimum, Contains Vegetable Fats in addition to Cocoa Butter Speed up the chilling process by placing the Terry's chocolate orange tiffin in the freezer for 30 minutes prior to slicing it into squares. Each Segsation segment has a word or short phrase written on the chocolate – and, looking through them, I really can’t see the point. Examples of the words are: Big hug, Let’s tango, Let’s play, Hello sunshine, Chatterbox, Big kiss, Kiss kiss, Wink, wink, Outrageous, Taste me, Yummy, Yum, One more?, Delight me, You’re beautiful, You’re fab, Wahey, Giggles, Yee ha, Love me, You want me, Go bonkers, Do the twist. Equal measures of chocolate (in this case the gorgeous dark Terry's choc orange) to double cream. Heat the cream and dump in the chopped chocolate, wait a few minutes then stir. That's it. What You Need To Make This Chocolate Orange Cake With Chocolate Ganache Unfortunately the Terry's Chocolate Orange ball is not vegan as it contains dairy. Terry's have recently brought out a plant based chocolate bar, and there are plenty of dairy free and vegan chocolate orange treats available. One of my favourites are Buttermilk Zingy Orange Choccy Segments. I also like Galaxy's Vegan Orange Bar, Nomo's Choc Orange Crunch Bar and Montezuma's Milk Chocolate Alternative with Orange. Where can you buy Terry's Chocolate Orange?

21. Chocolate Orange Easter Egg Cheesecake

I recommend using a good quality orange extract (not an essence) to get the best orange flavour in these cupcakes. I like to use the brand Nielsen Massey The cake batter will be very runny so make sure that your loose-bottomed cake tins don't have any gaps or the batter will leak and run out. The cake will last for 3-4 days in an airtight container in a cool place. You can freeze both the cake and the buttercream. To freeze them separately, wrap the cake well in cling film or put it in an airtight container. The buttercream can be frozen in a sealed tub. To freeze the cake decorated (I don't recommend freezing the orange zest decoration), freeze on a plate until frozen solid, then carefully wrap in cling film. Remove the clingfilm when you take the cake out of the freezer to defrost, as if it defrosts with it still on it could damage the appearance of the buttercream. Can you make this cake with plain/all purpose flour? For teaspoon (tsp) and tablespoon (tbsp) measurements, please use measuring spoons* and not the type of spoons you eat with. Again this will ensure accuracy and provide the best results.

Segsations: individual segments of chocolate in different flavours, including: milk chocolate, puffed rice, honeycomb, cornflake and a "double seg" of layered milk and dark chocolate, all flavoured with orange oil.

Ready to get baking? Here are three great recipes to try at home…

Light Brown Soft Sugar: For optimal flavour and texture in this cake opt to use brown sugar. I've used light brown but dark will also work. If you can't get brown sugar then the same quantity of caster sugar will be fine. a b c d "Terry's Confections (Courtesy of Kraft Foods Archives)". docslide.us . Retrieved 7 January 2016. Crush the digestive biscuits by placing them in a plastic bag and bashing them with a rolling pin. I like a few larger pieces of biscuit left in my tiffin, so don't go mad! Use good quality cocoa powder. Cocoa powder is NOT the same as hot chocolate. To get cocoa powder, go to the baking section in your supermarket. While these are individually wrapped segments of chocolate orange, that’s about all you can say about them. They are segments. They are not a sensation. Sorry Terrys, but you got these wrong in my opinion.
