About this deal

Don’t forget to listen to the Lifetime Uncorked Podcast available on iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify, or wherever you listen to podcasts! What is it with Elliot? He dosnt want to lose Morgan but cant force himself to release Esme. Why oh why Esme still thinking the possible of reconcile? Did she not thinking Eliot will do the same thing to her too? Double red flagss Grrr..

Katie keeps trying to introduce Louisa to Dan, but things keep coming up. Also, Louise won’t let Katie into her house.

Turns out, I was wrong for assuming he was the main love interest! I was appreciative of the fact that Esme and Elliot were not endgame, and I liked who the love interest ended up being. However, I think in her attempt to create a twist, I didn't really feel like there was a progressive build-up of chemistry between Esme and David, and so their romance fell a little flat. I think I would have appreciated a more progressive shift in their dynamic. The next morning, Katie goes out for a run. She stops to tie her shoe and meets Louisa the sexy neighbor. The girls hit it off and start running together in the mornings. Louisa is in PR, “Oh public relations!” and has just gotten out of a ten year relationship. Katie talks about how obsessed she is with her husband and can’t wait to introduce Dan. About the Conclusion: At the end of the day, this story was about life, love, relationships, growth, and finding personal truths. Esme learned who she really was and discovered what she really wanted. Elliot showed his true colors. David became brave. And still, there was more. Until Elliot - an ex whom she hasn’t seen or spoken to for years - moves in next door, along with his perfect new girlfriend, Morgan. Suddenly, Esme’s past is right on her doorstep, or at least just over the fence. After burst pipes destroy Esme’s city-centre flat, she temporarily relocates to a delightful and small cottage in a village on the edge of town. The change is a big one, but Esme soon settles in and, as the art gallery she co-owns with her business partner, David, continues to thrive, life is sweet.

Second chances, near misses, or bulls-eyes is up for debate in this newly crafted piece made out of love. The escort finds out about Katies scheme with the carpet cleaner, so she suffocates him with a plastic bag. She stages it to look like Dan killed her “boyfriend”. She tells the cops and they are like… WTF is this movie and why are we in it. They arrest Dan and it is all set up to look like Dan and Louisa were having an affair. I didn't like this book for the first few chapters, but it slowly drew me in. This is for fans of light-hearted contemporary romance. I enjoyed Platt's previous book, 'Working It Out' so I went into this book knowing what I expected from Platt's writing style. One of the things that captured my attention about this lovely book was the book title and the book cover. (I'm counting them as one, of course.) The title snagged my interest simply because of what it implies. I was immediately considering all sorts of romantic formulas based on the "perfect title." The cover seemed so playful and fun; it was lighthearted, even. I just knew, based on the cover, that this book would be special.

Rate And Review

I thought the characters were extremely dull. Other than a description that both Elliot and David were attractive, I didn't read anything else about their character that wasn't spoken. I felt the same way about Esme at some points, but her banter with other characters saved that narrative. When Elliot and Esme decide to keep their former relationship a secret from those around them, their subterfuge sets off a chain of events which not only forces Esme to re-evaluate her past relationship with Elliot, but also puts her friendship with David under the microscope and under pressure. I totally loved this book! There was romance, humour, sadness, even a bit suspense! I really enjoyed it. Well written and easy to engage with the characters! Tinna Nori will be seen in the upcoming movie as Elise Edwards. The American actress is very popularly known for her works in 'Haunted Hospitals' that was released in 2018, 'The Project: Guatemala' in 2013 and the 'Letterkenny' in 2019. Tianna Nori (IMDb) Creators Is it wise to simply keep the past relationship between Esme and Elliot in the past or should the new friendships surrounding their inner circle be made aware.
