The Capsule3 Pro seemed like an odd release according to the naming condition and proliferation of stem-based offerings in the SoundPEATS portfolio. In reality, they probably caused SoundPEATS a naming headache, because they map more logically to a 'pro' version of the 'already pro' Air3 Pro, and once you get your head around this, it makes a little more sense. Please make sure that the earbuds Bluetooth name is the default “ SOUNDPEATS Capsule3 Pro “.If you changed the default name, please change to its original format. Then restart your phone. Please note that if you change the default Bluetooth name of the model, it may cause connection issue to this app. That means you get Adaptive EQ, in-ear detection, gaming mode, and the ability to disable one-touch control gestures. The finely-tuned sound makes the highs clear and bright, and the mids and bass mellow and rich, allowing for a free performance of various musical styles. Treble​The treble region has some nice lower treble energy and then seems to drop off a bit leaving a lot of info attenuated to a degree. The transition from upper mids to lower treble is a painless task for the CP3 and there is a nice and pretty natural rise in this area. However, there is a roll-off around the presence region which helps to create a non-offensive tuning. The Engine 4's microphones have some trouble putting your voice loud and clear enough when there's noise around you. They perform even worse when there's a bit of wind. A special highlight of the new app version 1.2.8 is the personalised sound adjustment. Here, you can carry out a short listening test with sine tones at three different volumes in eight frequency bands, and from this, a corresponding equaliser curve is then created. If you do this test carefully, the result is a clear improvement in the sound, and this can be repeated at any time. The only disadvantage is that the algorithm works by subtraction. If you make an A/B comparison, the unprocessed signal always sounds somewhat louder, making a decent comparison difficult. Even more problematically, the reduction is subtracted from the maximum possible volume of the headphones, so depending on the strength of the equalisation, it can result in these in-ears being a bit too quiet even at maximum volume. How effective is the ANC of the SoundPEATS Capsule3 Pro? With terrific comfort even for smaller ears, solid battery life, a solid game mode and a straightforward sound, these are great no-nonsense earbuds.

Battery life is one of the headline features of the Capsule3 Pro, although as with all ANC and LDAC buds, it can vary depending on your usage.
