Roch Castle, HaverfordwestAs one of the oldest cities in the UK, it’s unsurprising that Chester has been the subject of several ghost sightings. One of the most talked about is a Roman soldier spotted wandering along the city walls. Built in 1435 the property has changed hands many times through its history. The house was used by two surgeons in Victorian times, then an ironmonger, girls school and also as a rectory.
