This pale blue Landspeeder is a really wonderful build, with fantastic and believable proportions, and an attractive colour scheme. This version of The Mandalorian is almost the same as the one from 75319 The Armorer’s Mandalorian Forge, except for the red scarf which is just printed on the same torso. It is what it is, and I’ve enjoyed most of it, but I do think it could have been way better. This is my first year with your blog as an accompaniment and I thank you for your time and effort! It’s really good to see others enjoying it (or not) and it’s even quite good to hear when other people made the same building mistakes we did. Thank you Jay! I’m quite keen on your commentary. I find it more thorough, more intelligent, and more useful than most. And you admit it when you’re wrong, and leave the evidence in plain view. Wow. I really appreciate that. Also, I’m on the US west coast, and I kind of like the 19 hour time difference because I’m so bored lately I’ve opened advent windows at the stroke of midnight. Sometimes your SW commentary was already posted! In addition the astromech is lower then the main bed of the vehicle, unlike the keelboat where the driver is raised up.
Mando Brings the Holiday Cheer with This Year’s LEGO Star
While this is only my second year with a Lego Star Wars advent calendar, I am enjoying that some of the items this year are fun to play with – like the snowball launchers. (Albeit the snowballs hide when they land on the floor.) I am looking forward to seeing how this calendar pans out, and hope you continue to do this blog in the future. Thanks so much for pulling apart the X wing — I wasn’t certain I had put it together properly, but I had!!It’s always a good day to see a familiar ship, and I really like how clean this year’s X-Wing looks like, even if it is very very similar to the 2020 mini X-Wing. As you can see there is a wide range of recommendations from Acceptable to Recommended. There is no clear winner between licensed and non-licensed sets but with the difference in pricing expectations for licensed sets is higher. Yaaaay!! My absolute favourite Star Wars figure! All the days correspond with things that appear in show, with some items getting a festive touch as we have done in previous years. This was my first Star Wars advent calendar. I would have been completely lost without you telling me what I just assembled. I almost came to believe that having everything pictured on the box was a good thing, because it at least gave me a fighting chance to assemble it properly. For me, this one is pretty much going to be a big pile o’ parts, but I still am interested in what real fans think of the Lego builds.
LEGO® Star Wars™ Advent Calendar
Thank goodness for finally getting a named character, and I liked that Grogu comes with his own carrier, which you can attach to IG-11 to carry Baby Yoda around. Cat and Scratching Tower – While it wasn’t immediately clear at first glance, the colorful tower is just like those you will find in a pet shop. A cute little 135 Sand Blue cat drives home the message. It will not be my favourite speeder bike, but I really appreciate the effort to fit it in the case. There are several appearances of the X-Wings in The Mandalorian TV Series, so on Day 11 we have the microfighter of this iconic starship. It’s always a good day to get one of the most recognisable Star Wars ships in an Advent Calendar, and while the design might not be everyone’s cup of tea, I like that the designers took the risk to try something new, instead of riff on an established design – plus the bonus advantage of being able to display Slave 1 upright makes this a winner in my books
