The first song, “Everybody’s Talkin’,” almost didn't make it into the movie, had Bob Dylan's "Lay Lady Lay" been available. But Dylan was unable to write his tune in time therefore "Everybody's Talkin'" made the cut, and I think the movie is all the better for it.
