Fans of 70s Doctor Who will be right at home as most of the action takes place in dusty quarries that are not unlike the alien worlds that Tom Baker’s incarnation of the Time Lord often found himself in. From this point of view, the TV show has changed the events in the book enough to build a universe that can last longer: differently from the original novel, now Mark has many allies in the real world, his mother is ready to support him in the fight, Memo and Thomas are alive, and even Becky and the police officer are involved in the matter. Through crowdsourcing, Der Greif brings together diverse voices and provides a platform and visibility for a range of practitioners and their works.The series stars J eremias Meyer, Zoran Pingel, and Lea Drinda as the trio and is written and created by Sebastian Marka and Erol Yesilkaya.

The resulting Prime Video show looks like something you'd get if Guillermo del Toro had made Stranger Things instead of Pan's Labyrinth, with the trailer filled with creepy creatures and teens in peril. The Cruzz” is a semi-documentary photography project that brings together images produced during two summers spent with a Mexican family in a small gated community, south-east of Mexico City. My curator at the “Docdocdoc” photography school, Feodora Kaplan, suggested several experiments before the upcoming holidays. On October 20th we hosted a “Der Greif X MPB: Behind the Image” Instagram Live with artists Soham Joshi and Babak Kazemi.

In the river basin of the Papaloapan River in Veracruz, Mexico, the people have built a story, an economy, and a very peculiar culture and identity. The images that will be selected will be displayed with works from Der Greif's archive, with the aim of creating a dialogue between the work of past contributors and the emerging artists. This fascinating story will bring a cult following and if a continuation is created, may take off into something better than say Game of Thrones or Stranger Things. At this point, he throws off all of his other responsibilities and ventures into this fantastical place.
