Wire the down lighter into the plug part using heat resistant flex, and when its time to decorate just unplug the down lighters.Is it acceptable to put behind the rose although it might be too difficult to pull it through when inspection is required. Obviously I can just stick a nice junction box on the joist but then this wouldn't conform to regulations due to its inaccessibility right?
