About this deal
Actually it is made by Kewpie Thailand, for me it is even better than the original japanese version!
If you love a good creamy salad dressing this Japanese-inspired Roasted Sesame Dressing (AKA Goma Dressing) is a dressing that you don’t want to miss! Apparently, not a lot of cuisines use ground sesame – only the Mediterranean and Middle-eastern cuisines use it in the form of tahini and in Japanese dishes. Add this Japanese sesame salad dressing to a coleslaw mix and canned chicken or tuna, you get a quick and delicious side dish to die for!
The mottled, miso-hued liquid initially looked sugary-sweet—like something from Newman’s Own—but where was the flaccid plastic bottle I love-hate? By grinding the sesame seeds with a pestle and mortar (or with a clean coffee grinder), it releases the seed oil and the toasted sesame fragrance.
Sesame Oil– We love adding this for a little extra flavour, you can sub with homemade rayu chilli oil if you’d like to add heat along with the sesame oil.if you're referring to the toasted sesame oil (dark brown version) I think it will be too overpowering.
