About this deal

In Losing Hope, readers will learn what was going on inside Holder's head during all those moments that left him feeling hopeless and see whether he can perhaps gain the peace he desperately needs.

Hoover’s decision to retell a story she’s already told was undoubtedly a risk, but it certainly was one worth taking. In Maybe Someday, college student Sydney is devastated when she discovers that her beloved boyfriend is cheating on her. The book's main character, Lily, experiences domestic violence at a young age, witnessing her father's abuse towards her mother, on top of experiencing it firsthand, and then she ends up in a violent relationship as an adult. The sequel to Never Never amps up the stakes, blending a desperate race for answers with even more questions. CoHo’s highest rated stand-alone novel follows a young mother who was recently released from prison. In Hopeless, Sky left no secret unearthed, no feeling unshared, and no memory forgotten, but Holder’s past remained a mystery.

The novel concerns domestic violence, and, according to Hoover, it was written with the intention of advocating for domestic violence victims.

Despite these initial tensions between them, sparks quickly fly and they move from enemies to lovers within a few days of knowing one another. In 2022, Hoover held six of the top ten spots on the New York Times paperback fiction best seller list. Sky wants to go home, but Holder doesn’t want to leave her alone, so he stays in her room that night.

She might argue that I’m too protective of her, and there may be some truth to that argument, but I don’t plan on changing anytime soon. She Reads Romance Books helps romance book lovers find their next book boyfriend because life is better with a love story. Not knowing how to tell Sky that her life since childhood has been a lie, he refuses to speak to her for two weeks, hoping that she will forget about him. A year later, after one awful relationship, Daniel meets Six: a mysterious girl whose name is just as strange as her personality. Forced to keep her family secrets for the longest times, she one day decides to desert her them for good. What left me speechless once again is the author’s ability to use humour to lighten even the heaviest of subjects. Regretting You by Colleen Hoover is a Young Adult book for which the recommended reading age is 14 and over. Lastly, a few are so dark and/or explicit that it’s best that only persons aged 21 and over read them. The character development in this story really shines as we meet Holder in a new light — his own light. My fist is closer to him now and I have to clench it, knowing how good it would feel to punch his face in. She for the first time puts her heart in control, only to find out that Owen is hiding a deadly secret. While some reviewers think this novel lacked a certain edge, others rave about the book, saying it was a “beautiful” story that tugged at their heartstrings.I truly love her books, and her writing alone has given me a love for reading like I never had before, the depth that this story develops to understand Holder is amazing,. In fact, much of the story is repeated from the first book, word for word in regards to the dialogue even. I wipe my palms on my shorts and open the door to her bedroom, preparing for another heated lecture on how I need to mind my own business.
