It is distilled in in small batches near Birmingham and combines a host of botanicals, including angelica root, cassia bark, coriander seeds, Florentine iris, juniper berries, lemon, orange, as well as African baobab fruit and cape gooseberries, with eight generations of expertise from Johnny Neill, a direct descendant of Thomas Greenall. Sharp Peppery notes lead a scrumptious strawberry compote finish that is the true taste of British summertime. This fruity expression from Whitley Neill combines the original gin's Africa-inspired botanical selection with something a little closer to home - Scottish raspberries!
